About
My work focuses on systems physiology, metabolic health, vitamin C biology, stress physiology, and the mechanisms that underpin resilience and chronic disease.
What began as a personal investigation gradually evolved into a broader systems-level exploration of human metabolism, energy regulation, dietary theory, and the historical development of modern health paradigms. Over time, seemingly disconnected observations — spanning endocrinology, nutrition, exercise physiology, vascular disease, evolutionary biology, and the history of medicine — began to organise themselves into a more coherent physiological framework.
This ongoing research forms the foundation of The Power of the Lion — a long-form investigative book project examining metabolism, resilience, vitamin C biology, dietary misconceptions, and the structural conditions underlying modern metabolic dysfunction.
My approach is strongly interdisciplinary, drawing not only from contemporary scientific literature, but also from historical clinical observations, forgotten physiological models, and systems-based analysis. Particular areas of interest include glucose regulation, mitochondrial function, metabolic flexibility, endothelial injury, stress adaptation, and the relationship between modern dietary environments and chronic disease.
Alongside this work, I continue to work professionally within the security sector — a background that has significantly shaped my analytical approach, investigative mindset, and long-standing interest in complex systems and resilience.
