Why This Project Exists

For more than five years, I have been engaged in an ongoing investigation into metabolism, resilience, chronic disease, and the physiological systems that govern human health.
What began as an attempt to answer a handful of isolated questions gradually evolved into a much broader systems-level exploration spanning vitamin C biology, stress physiology, glucose regulation, mitochondrial function, dietary theory, endothelial injury, and the historical development of modern metabolic thought.
Over time, the fragments began to connect.
What emerged was not a collection of isolated observations, but a more coherent physiological framework through which seemingly unrelated aspects of health and disease could be understood.
This site documents that continuing investigation and the development of The Power of the Lion — an exploration of metabolism, resilience, and the biological architecture that underlies human health.
